Yesterday a miracle occurred. My second grandchild came into this world. Her name is Savannah Ann and she weighs 5 pounds 15 ounces.

So tiny - my daughter came into the world almost twice that size! Congratulations!

@saintvi - My smallest were both a little over six pounds and they were both premature. That's what I get for being a gestational diabetic.
Babies are such holy creatures...we worship at their little tiny toes. How lovely!

Congratulations! My start as a grandparent is still a few years away (my best guess), but I'm looking forward to them.
@ideaguy - I love babies but I didn't think I was ready for being a grandma. When they set my grandson in my arms my hard old heart melted and it was all up from there. Sunday when I held Savannah I cried like a baby myself. There is nothing like seeing your progeny having some of their own.
