It Is Finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matthew’s grades are done and I shall file them with the school tomorrow. On top of that my IHIPs are done and they will be filed with the school tomorrow also. New York State is a very demanding state when it comes to paperwork and homeschooling. It is a good thing from the point of view of accountability. Those who would not otherwise be accountable would be found out or fall by the wayside if they live in a school district like the one that we live in. If, however, they live in one that is lax then it doesn’t mean anything.
Anyway, I am now free from paperwork until I have to turn in my quarterlies on the 30th of November. Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May I say that he did not do too poorly considering that he dislikes school very much (except for religion and biology) and that he has no one here to compete with (which makes a big difference). This mother is proud of her son. This coming school year I have some things planned that will help the competition thing and also will give him some company since his sister will be gone.
Way to go Matthew!

You went blond, were did you guys take that picture?
That photo was taken last summer on the top of the mountain and I am not blond, the sun bleached out all the color from my hair. (which it does every summer)
You will notice that it happens in the current pics of me, oh wait, you won’t see any current pics of me because I take all the pics.

And get one of the wonderful children to take a picture of you so we can see (and since I hear you thinking — hello pot!, I will have my son take a picture of me and I can post it).
