The very patient patient.
When a person goes into the hospital in the 21st century they are now given very stylish gowns to wear.
Here is Matthew modeling the latest in pre-surgical garb. You can’t see but it is equipped with the latest in warming technology. It has a heating unit with a hose that connets to the gown and blows warm air onto the victim (patient).
The patient of the new millenium sits and chats with his friends while waiting for the call to come to the holding room prior to being taken into the surgical suite.
I am afraid that no improvements have been made in the post-surgical dopey look department. Thankfully the area of pain managment is very effective but not too intelligent looking.
Home once again we see our patient comfortably reclining while enjoying every possible comfort.

That is quite the gown, but I bet he’s glad to be home again!
What did he have done? Glad he came through with flying colors.
Glad he is home recuperating! Hmm interesting warming procedure…
@TheSunnyC - He had a pilonidal cyst removed from the base of his spine.
@perelandra30 - That has to have been painful. Hope the recovery isn’t difficult.
@TheSunnyC - The recovery is long and risky. He is in danger of infection until the whole thing is healed. There are no stitches since they leave the wound open to heal from the inside out. Because of where it is he has to be on his side or stomach or on a donut if on his back 24/7. Dressing and packing changes 2x daily. Fortunately he is a trooper and this is the fourth of my children who have had the same surgery. We haven’t had an infection yet (thanks be to God). A lot of care and prayer and he will be fine by Sept.
@perelandra30 - Is this hereditary? My older grandchildren can inherit Polytheistic Kidney Disease from the paternal side. G-dau, 21, has already been diagnosed with it.
Good old Matthew
@TheSunnyC - Not that I know of but it is possible.
