A really useful engine.
Sometimes when Layn gets to be a bit overtired he and I sit down in the rocker and put in a Thomas the Tank Engine video. I taught Layn to pump his arm in the air and say “choo, choo!” when he sees the engines.
Now he doesn’t even have to see the engines, all he has to do is hear the opening bars of the theme song and he raises his arm and looks at me as if to say, “let’s watch Thomas.”
Even with a graham cracker in one hand he still has the other free to do his “choo, choo!” when Thomas comes on the video.

Haha — I love this! Liam does the same with VeggieTales; as soon as he sees the tuba, nothing else exists. He’s even eating a graham cracker right now! =-D
@The_Innocents_Corner - I love watching them become aware of the world around them. How old is Liam? Layn is 9 months.
Priceless.
@perelandra30 - He’s 15 months — older and older every day! I love/hate this growing up thing
We still stop for Thomas, any Veggie and of course Bob
So cute! It’s amazing how much they learn in such a short time.
