  • Surprises

My daughter brought in the mail today and among the other packages that were there was one from Saintvi.  Being the wonderful loving and considerate woman that she is it didn’t include baked goods like she sends to Bricker.  She knows that if I were to sample her baking I would probably blow up my stove and declare myself retired from baking forever.  Instead she sent me the pattern for the canvas bags that her niece needs and a sample bag to follow.

Thanks Saintvi very much for sending the package.  I will get on it right away.  Just one question, do I have to stick with plain canvas or can I use prints and may I do some embellishment with my embroidery machine?

  • How sweet of her!  I can’t wait to see what you do!

  • I doubt that your baking would pale in comparison to hers.

  • @ugotafriend - You never know.  Lately I am too preoccupied with other things to bake.  But cooking, now that is another story.  I am seriously thinking about writing a cookbook of numerous ways to fix Zucchini.  MK would probably have me committed for that though.  She hates the stuff.

  • @perelandra30 - I gain weight just looking at pictures of your baking (that chocolate creme de menthe cake still makes my mouth water and my stomach growl).
I love zucchini….I’ll take your recipes. I hope to grow some next year.

  • @perelandra30 - about 5 years ago, my mom decided to stop growing zuchinni in our year.  It got huge the size of fall squashes, and there were only so many things we could do with it: soup, stuff it, fry it, shred it for bread, etc.  We don’t can out here, so she couldn’t do that.
