He’s getting old. Should have split that first one in one hit. Still, for a fifty plus year old man, he’s one tough hombre.
@P_Obrien - He said he was trying to go around the edges to take small pieces off so that they would fit into the stove better. What do you think of that excuse? I thought it was pretty good since he thought it up right on the spot. He was just chopping the wood to give the old lady a thrill.
Impressive. Those of us who have never wielded an axe are very impressed. And if that wasn’t his original purpose, he did well to think on the spot so he gets bonus points either way.
@standingonthepromises - He is something else. What I haven’t figured but something. He did want to impress with his wood splitting prowess and he did just that.
@perelandra30 - Do you really need to figure it out when he is that impressive?
We are impressed! : ) Reminds me of when we lived in the country…Sam and his trusty ax. That is a neat video…A real keeper. I don’t know how those guys do it! They swing that ax around like it’s nothing….Yay for your hubby, he did great and he let you video him too!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment, you hit the nail on the head. Yes, sometimes I just need a hug. Thank you!
The nice thing about xanga is the way God uses it to bring His children together to encourage and cheer, to rejoice with and sometimes cry with too. Your sensitive and kind comment just did me a world of good. I appreciate it very much.
And please know I feel the same way, I just so enjoy your fellowship. : ) With love, Amelia
