Outside my window…… the sun is newly risen. It is cool out there. Doug says that we should have rain showers later today. A good day to stay inside and get “inside” things done after our outside weekend
I am thinking…… what a beautiful weekend we had with Mary-Kate’s friends visiting and Ian here most of the weekend. The weather was sunny and crisp. We couldn’t have asked for better.
From the schoolroom……. all is silent and waiting for us to come home from morning Mass and begin a new day and new week of learning.
I am thankful for…… new hopes and new dreams. Hopes for prayers answered for this nation. Much fervent prayer is going up about the election tomorrow. New dreams that my son is dreaming as he gets improvements done on the farm and land purchased. May God continue to bless him.
From the kitchen……. no cooking this week. Many, many leftovers to carry us through most of the week. I did A LOT of cooking this past weekend.
I am wearing…….. tan slacks, white tee shirt, black sweater and blue crocs
I am reading…….. nothing right now. Have to stay on track with school and finish sewing projects. Have a hospital stay in my near future that I have to prepare for.
I am hoping….. that the snow that we had last week is not something that we are going to have to “enjoy” again any time soon.
I am creating…….. a clean, warm pleasant household out of the chaos left from guests this weekend.
I am hearing…. quiet except for the sound of the washers running.
Around the house……. piles, piles and more piles of things to put away. Did I remember to say that we had fun this weekend and spent most of it outside.
One of my favorite things……. making my family happy. I sent a well pleased and satisfied husband to work this morning and a happy daughter back to school last night.
A few plans for the rest of the week…… catch up on the laundry, finish sewing projects, get to the hospital to visit Papa Buehner, get my quarterly reports written and turned in. Stay home as much as I can. That is my challenge each week.
Here is a picture thought that I am sharing with you……
Mary-Kate, Matthew and Mary-Kate’s friends from school helping to auger oats into a wagon. They had a fun weekend on the farm.
