  • christmastime1 113 Merry Christmas to all.  My wish for all is to have the Christmas that I am enjoying at this very moment.  My husband and all but one of my children about me.  All are healthy and well.  We went to Mass last night and again this morning and offered back to Our Lord and God the best and only gift that is pleasing and acceptable, the holy sacrifice of the Mass.  We all knelt in prayer before the tabernacle and adored the Lord and gave thanks for His Incarnation for it is this that was the beginning of our redemption.  All else is meaningless without the Incarnation.   Now today we celebrate not only the birth of Jesus in the stable at Bethlehem, but also each other and our being together.  We celebrate our family, the love that we have for each other and the fact that God gave us to each other to assist each other in our journey to heaven.

Thank you Lord for your gift of my family, for my life and faith in you.  May I always stay close to you.  Give me the grace to persevere in your service and the praise of you. Amen

  • Merry Christmas from the prodigal son. I didn’t call again because there was a long line for the phone and I fell asleep and slept like a log for eight hours. Hope you all had a merry Christmas.

  • Merry Christmas friend.

Your heart sounds happy and full (as does your home)

May the rest of the season be blessed

(and don’t forget to rest that back)

  • Is that an exercise ball under your desk?  We just bought one for Christmas so that we could do some minor working out while on the computer.  The joke is on me though because the boys have yet to let John and I touch it.  They ADORE it.

And I love your Nativity!  Ours is mostly white too, which is my favorite, but our wooden stable thing broke.

The tree is simply beautiful.  Hopefully we’ll be in a house next year and we’ll get a tree.  I miss having a tree, but our little juniper bush is holding its own.

  • Wonderful! Happy New Year!
