  • Adam is Coming Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adam2 He’s on his way home!!!!!!!! His ship got into port and he is adam1 in his car as we speak driving home for the DSCN0661 holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We are doing DSCN1106

everything but killing the fatted calf. (onlybecause we don’t have one, otherwise we would)  Everyone in this  DSCN2381 house is almost as excited as the mother is.m51803600 We haven’t seen Adam since April when we drove to Norfolk to see his ship dock after being out to sea for 6months.  He hasn’t been home since his granfather’s funeral in September of 2006.  No wonder everyone is excited.  It is going to be an exceptional Christmas in this house.  The only other thing this mother would like for Christmas she can’t have so I guess I am content.  Thank you God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • RYC: Yeah, I guess I am , but I still feel like I am 20

  • Hi there!  That is wonderful about your son, Adam, coming home!!!  What a happy Christmas for you and your family!!!

RYC:  Thank you so very much for your kind comment… that was so nice of you!  I appreciate it very much!  I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to reply!!!  Please know that it was a blessing to read… thank you very much.

  • YAY!!!!!  I’m so happy for you!

I’m going to finally subscribe.  I mean to every time I pop into your site, but my brain can seem only to process half a task at a time anymore.

  • RYC: I don’t even know where to start.  God bless you for having to endure any of that!  You’re a truly wonderful example of gracious suffering.  I thank God for that.  My brother and his wife are foster parents and they can’t even wipe the kids’ noses without the agency giving them an inquirey about it.  I can’t imagine the chaos that would surround the loss of a foster child.  Wow.

Enjoy your son’s time home!  Are all three in the last picture yours?
